Step 1 of 3 — The vow
Write the one thing that matters most. Not a task — the outcome you'd regret never reaching.
Step 2 of 3 — The reason
This is the sentence you'll be shown on the day you want to quit. Be honest, not poetic.
Nothing leaves your account unless you break a day. We save your card now and charge it only on a broken vow — we never hold your money, and we never move money between users. Funds are forwarded to the beneficiary through a registered donating platform.
Card networks cap an authorization hold at 7 days, so a weekly cycle is the only way to make the money feel frozen without SwordVow taking custody of it.
Step 3 of 3 — The daily move
Small enough to do on your worst day. Big enough to matter on your best.
By sealing this vow you agree to be shown your own reason every day, and to have a broken day recorded — permanently.

SwordVow never holds your money and never transfers funds between users. A broken day triggers a single charge to your saved card; the amount is forwarded to your beneficiary through a registered donating platform. Nothing is charged on the days you keep.
Your vow lives in this browser, not in our database. That is why we can run without an account — and why you should export a backup before switching phones or clearing your browser.
Export backup gives you a complete copy of everything this app holds: the vow texts, the clause you signed, every sealed day, the terms version you signed under, and the full record — in a plain file you can read or move anywhere. You can also delete all of it at any time.
This is not a pause. The record will show day X as your last sealed day, and the current run goes back to zero.
